Hello! Addy here. I wanted to start things off on this page with a brief overview of who we are and what we’re up to. 

     We are a Women's Rafting Team based in the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. We started paddling as a team in the Summer of 2023 with a race on the Slaughterhouse section of the Roaring Fork River where we placed first in the women’s division. Soon after, a couple of our teammates went on to win second at the 2023 National Championship held in Cañon City, Colorado. This brought us to January 2024, when we were offered the opportunity to paddle at the World Rafting Championship on the Vrbas River in Bosnia-Herzegovina May 28 to June 2 of 2024. We are incredibly excited about this opportunity to take our team to the next level and we intend to paddle competitively in Bosnia and throughout the years to come!

      Our training right now consists of strength and conditioning indoors (while the rivers are still mostly ice), and we are looking forward to paddling once things begin to thaw this spring. We are working with a strength and conditioning coach to ensure that we are at peak performance going into race season. In May we have a couple races we will be participating in before we head to Bosnia, including the Pagosa Springs Paddle Festival on May 11th and the Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival on May 18th and 19th. This race will be the 2024 National Championship and will determine who will be competing in the World Championships in 2025. 

In addition to our physical training we will be hosting a couple of fundraising events in the Roaring Fork Valley (details to come). We have merchandise on the way which we will sell in person and at events and that will be available on this website. We are also reaching out to partner with people in our community to increase participation in whitewater festivals as well as to create events focused on women within the whitewater community. Looking further into the future our long term goals include creating a nonprofit to fundraise for competitions, working with women in the whitewater industry to create women focused events and community,  and increasing participation in whitewater raft racing.
